A tidal creek with brackish water, Miller Creek is home to white perch, which migrate up the creek to spawn in the spring.

Camp Barnes, a summer camp for disadvantaged children run by the Delaware State Police, is just upstream.

Muddy Neck is on the opposite shore and Bethany Beach and Sea Colony can be seen off in the distance.
