MOSAIC: The Rehoboth Beach Gallery Collective

This group consist of 10 fine art galleries in Downtown Rehoboth Beach. On the second Saturday of each month (throughout the year) we all take part of the Rehoboth Beach Second Saturday Art Walk. Heidi Lowe Solo Exhibition

Artists and Gallery Owner, Heidi Lowe will be debuting a new body of work. This collection is the result of receiving the 2011 DDOA Professional Artist Grant. Lowe’s work was inspired by the Biggs Museum’s Delaware Silver Collection from the 1700-1900. Lowe worked in conjunction with the Museum to take impressions, rubbing, and callographs from the silver ware. She also completed a series of drawings and paintings of the historical Silver. Lowe then created jewelry and service ware inspired by the collection. This body of work looks to history as inspiration and interprets it through a contemporary lenses. Heidi Lowe will be at the gallery to answer questions and explain the process. Please join us to meet the artists and check out her new collection. The opening reception happens in conjunction with the “Mosaic Second Saturday Art Walk” from 6-9pm.
