Beach-Net! Guide to the Delaware-Maryland Beaches

Ocean City's Fabulous
Winterfest of Lights

Nautical decorations are the theme at the Ocean City Inlet, where you can see an animated "Jaws" swim in animation as the fins slowly cross the water until the giant shark thrusts its head and sharp teeth out of the water.

You can see all of the displays at the Inlet, including the new Christmas Tree Forest, from the comfort of your car.

You can drive right through the middle of the forest, and drive along the beach edge of the parking lot to get an up-close view of the other displays.

Along the way, you'll see King Neptune being hauled by three Seahorses, a family of whales playing in the water, and a fisherman hooking a marlin from his boat.

Other Inlet displays include a mermaid with a chest full of buried treasure, Surfing Santa, a Lighthouse, and a display celebrating the birth of Baby Jesus.

From the Inlet to 15th Street, light poles are wrapped like candy canes and all up and down Coastal Highway are numerous, smaller decorations.
