THE CANNONBALL HOUSE
& MARINE MUSEUM
118 Front Street

Take The Tour

Built before 1797, this house was known as the David Rowland Home before it was struck by a cannon ball during a two-day British bombardment in April 1813 as part of the War of 1812.

A wooden marker shows the spot where the cannon hit the house.

Check out a Cat's Meow reproduction of this building
