Delaware Lightship -- 48 degrees
Lewes -- 53 degrees As of April 17, 2000

Surf: The big news of the week is the arrival of the Blues. Bluefish in the 24" range were hitting at 3 R's Rd. on Spin N' Glow whole mullet rigs.

Inshore Wrecks and Outer Wall: Plenty of tog are being caught and some of them weighed in here were citations going over nine pounds.

Offshore: Mackerel are moving north very quickly. The latest reports of any catches are at the Mary Lou Slough.

Broadkill River: Nick Trampos is catching big white perch on bloodworms.

Indian River: Nick the mate stopped in and reported releasing nice size flounder. Get ready for the start of Flounder season May10TH!!! Richard Johnson and Jackie West caught a 26" striper and a 15-1/2" bluefish at the inlet on sassy shads and white bucktails. Dave Dubroff and Jim Tassell caught their limit of Tau Tog in the rocks at the inlet. Remember the creel limit of tog is 3 fish at 15".
