Broadkill River: Stringers of trout were brought in from the Broadkill. Peeler crabs were the bait of the day. Don Halverson and Marty Tompkins caught their limits of weakies weighing up to 7.78 Lbs. Parker Atwood, Gary Jordan and "Trout Smack" Kiibler weighed limits of fish up to 8-1/2 Lbs. Parker reported Croaker and Blues mixed in. A 20" Puppy Drum was caught by Bill Reel on a peeler Crab. A keeper striper and trout were brought in by Howard Chappel, also on Peeler Crab..
Roosevelt Inlet: Earl Paul brought a 10.46 Lb Trout to the scales drifting Roosevelt Inlet. Each of the other three anglers on board caught their limit.
Delaware Bay: Tom Heckman,John Hart and Bill Bowe drifted the outer wall, Tom weighed in a 7.39Lbr, John a 3.98 Lb Flounder and a cooler full of fish. Charter boats were hooking up with Trout and flounder at the Broadkill Slough..
Cape Henlopen State Park Pier: Grandpop Mowrey nailed a 23" flounder at the Pier in Cape Henlopen State Park , on minnows..
Surf: Surf fishing at Gordons Pond netted Justin McKinley 6 Blues up to 22". Blues were also reported at 3 R's Rd.
Offshore: Bottom bouncers at 'B' bouy are catching flounder and Sea Bass on minnows and sqiud according to Jason Hall. Gus, Clarence and Jim Helwig came in with a 250 Lb Thresher Shark which they caught at the Jack Spot..
Indian River: The Indian River Inlet was also productive as sea trout and stripers were brought in by Steve Wright, Brian Elliott, Kerry Lodish, Ron , Tom and Tommy Griffith. AL Demboski drifted the Indian River Bay and boated 6 keeper flounder on minnows and squid..
