FISHING REPORT

WATER TEMP.- DE. LIGHTSHIP - 61.3'
Roosevelt Inlet produced nice catches of trout for Zack Pettijohn who found 23 undersize trout. Tony Monte used long leaders with green teasers to catch trout at the Broadkill.
Chris Moody and Ron Krajewski fished the Outer Wall in the De. Bay and boated trout up to 5lbs. on jigs and paddle tails. Will Sullivan nailed a 28" striper along the Outer Wall with a mirrolure. Also at the Wall, Frank Tier and Lonnie had decent catches of tog and stripers.
Boaters are being rewarded with limits of stripers from south of 8A Buoy on live eels.
A mixed bag was caught at the Pier including blues, lots of small croaker, trout and flounder.
Surf fishing improved this week. At 3R's Rd., blowfish and kings were caught on bloodworms.
At the Indian River Inlet, Roger Williamson caught stripers up to 34" on minnows. Mick landed 6 stripers on live herring. Chuck Cook and Will Sullivan boated 3 stripers on bucktails. Shad are being caught on shad darts. Blues are also reported in the Inlet.
'Bongo' Mailey bagged white perch up to 1.34 lbs. at the Broadkill and 14 catfish at the Nanticoke.
Terrance Bobbie brought a 4.65 lb. largemouth bass to the scales caught at Red Mill Pond. At Burton Pond, Patricia Crawley hooked up a citation 1.28 lb. crappie on a worm..
