Offshore fishing continues to improve, according to Kathy Baker of Bill's Sport Shop.
Mako fishing made the day for Kevin Rogers, Don Wingate and Bruce Mears last week with a 150-pound shark taken on Bluefish at the 20-fathom line on the Fingers.
Scott Stapleford, Tom Vaughn and Mark Graham trolled a spreader bar and brought up 3 Bluefin Tuna at the Chicken Bone and the Ham Bone.
The "Fearsome Threesome", Gus, Clarence and Jim, brought in 30 Bluefish up to 12 pounds chumming at the Jackspot.
"B" Buoy continues hot with nice catches of Flounder and Sea Bass. Russ Golden caught 11 Sea Bass on squid.
Around Lewes, Lewes Beach is producing nice Trout. Dave Hazzard limited out on Trout using chicken. Don Blythe weighed in a 6 7/8-pound Flounder from the Lewes Canal. He used squid and a yellow teaser.
Trout and Flounder are reported from the Cape Henlopen State Park Pier, while Flounder, Trout and an 11-pound Bluefish have been reported from the Broadkill.
In Indian River Inlet, Brian Elliott of Bill's Sport Shop weighed in a Striper caught on eels. John Korman, Dean Kestner and Steve Wright also weighed in Stripers taken on eels and rubber worms.
An impressive, 30-pound Striper was landed by Larry Buffenmaier Jr. on eels. Trout and Bluefish limits have also been taken at the inlet, including a limit of Bluefish by Joe Raczkowski up to 3 pounds on bucktails.
In Indian River Bay, Scott and John Fink limited out on Flounder using squid and minnows while drifting. They also caught undersize Stripers on bucktails and bubblegum worms.
