The Rehoboth Beach - Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce's Annual Installation & Awards Banquet will be held at the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel on Thursday, January 17th. Those recognized include the Installation of Chamber Board of Directors, Mae Hall McCabe, Business of the Year, Volunteer of the Year and Dewey Lifeguard of the Year Awards.

Rae Tyson will be back with his popular memoir writing class. Tyson will guide attendees through the process of creating one of the most popular forms of writing. Writing memoirs can provide an opportunity to create a personal legacy for friends and family alike.

This new workshop will cover an array of advanced memoir writing skills and will include information on how to self-publish. This series of workshops will be on Thursday, November 21, Thursday, December 5, and Thursday, December 19 at 10:00 a.m. Having completed the basic workshop at the museum would be helpful but not required.

Rae Tyson your instructor is a local journalist who teaches memoir writing courses at the University of Delaware's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute in Lewes.

Registration is required, a $20 fee for members, and $25.00 fee for non-members for the entire three-part workshop series will be used to support museum programs. Reservations are required and registration is limited so please call (302) 227-7310 to save a spot.

The museum is located at 511 Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE. Parking is available and the museum is handicap accessible.

We hope you can join us this season for one of our famous cooking classes! Our cooking classes will feature menu items from the Big Fish Restaurant Group. We encourage hands-on participation in the preparation of featured items. Classes also include a tour of our restaurant, commissary, seafood market, a whole fish cutting demonstration & tips about purchasing and preparing seafood.

The annual Community Unity Dinner is Sunday, December 8th from 4:30 to 7:30 pm.
