Join us for this one-day “Shredding Event” from 10 AM – 2 PM on Friday, May 1st with a rain date of Friday, May 8th. The community is invited to bring their used paper to WSFS Bank on Coastal Highway for shredding. There is no charge, but donations are welcome.

Not sure what you can shred? Any paper based printed material, X-Rays, and more! Staples, rubber bands, folders, paper clips, etc. do not need to be removed before shredding occurs. Materials must be removed from three ring binders prior to shredding. Shredding occurs on-site in the WSFS parking lot.

Members are invited to join us for Business After Hours held at Thompson Island Brewing Company on Thursday, May 14th from 5 - 7 PM. $1.00 donation admission is collected at the door, no RSVP needed. 50/50 raffle and business card drawings are held and door prizes are given out to the lucky winners!

Join park staff for one of the PREMIER programs at the park, not to be missed! This 4-hour experience includes a tour of the historic Indian River Life-Saving Station, one of the oldest oceanfront buildings along Delaware's coast, and learn about the daily lives of the surfmen that served at the station and the heroic rescues they performed. Then sit down to a locally-sourced, farm-to-table dining experience, with a 5-course menu inspired by what the surfmen may have been eating around the turn-of-the-century. Menu may include anything from steamed clams and sea bean salad to muskrat stew and beach plum cobbler! Top off the evening with a lantern-lit walk on the beach to hear local shipwreck tales, full of tragedy and mystery.
