Ocean City welcomes the 4th Annual Susan G. Komen Ocean City Race for the Cure on Sunday, April 19, 2015!

Race Day Schedule 

The 5K Race begins at the inlet parking lot and continues up the boardwalk to 17th street, turns around and ends back at the inlet parking lot.  The Race Village (Inlet Lot) is transformed into a family-friendly party atmosphere with vendor tents, activities, entertainment, food and beverages.

This run/walk event aims to increase awareness and support in the fight against breast cancer.  The Race Village will open at 7:00 am with a festival-like atmosphere full of celebration, music, and emotion.

7:40 am Survivor Parade
8:15 am Warm-up
9:00 am 5K (3.1 miles) Timed Run/Recreational Run
9:15 am 5K (3.1 miles) Walk/Family Fun Walk & Kids for the Cure

Admission Fees:

Before Race Day (prior to April 19, 2015):
$45 Timed chip runners (not available on race day)
$40 Adult registration
$10 Kids for the Cure (ages 11 and under)

On Race Day (April 19, 2015):
$50 Adult registration
$15 Kids for the Cure (ages 11 and under)

Boardwalkin' for Pets

Worcester County Humane Society annual fun event - walk-a-thon on the boards! All proceeds benefit the Ocean City area's no-kill pet shelter. Bring your pet for a fun day on the boards to help the animals or adopt a shelter dog for the day by making arrangements prior to the walk-a-thon. Registration fee.  9 a.m. to noon, rain or shine!
