The soloist for the concert is violinist Virgil Boutellis and he will be playing Ernest Chausson's Poeme and Camille Saint-Saens Danse Macabre.  Also on that program will be Ma mere l'Oye by Maurice Ravel and Symphony No. 4 by Johannes Brahms.

Those that are already pre-registered may check-in inside the Convention Center on Wednesday, October 4, from 9am to 4pm, Thursday 7:30 to 4pm, Friday 7:30am to 4pm, and Saturday 7:30am to 10am.

Boardwalk Parades:
Approximately 8am Thursday, Friday, and Saturday mornings. Staging at 27th Street and going south to the Inlet.

OC Beach Ultimate Classic Frisbee Tournament - October 14-15, 2017

Saturday & Sunday - 9am to 5pm, on the beach from Wicomico St. to Somerset St.

The OC Beach Classic is a two-day beach ultimate frisbee tournament in which teams of 10-15 players compete in 45-minute games. There are eight total rounds , and each team will play four games during pool play on Saturday and at least two games during bracket play on Sunday, culminating in a finals game to crown a champion.  The event is a Beach Ultimate Frisbee Tournament established under the offical BULA/USA ULTIMATE Rule Book 11th Edition.

HOWL-O-WEEN PET PARADE – Located at N. Division Street on the Boardwalk

Bring your dog, cat, bird or other family pet for Ocean City’s “Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade”, October 22 on the boardwalk near N. Division Street. Dress up your pets and showcase your creativity on Ocean City’s historic Boardwalk or sit back, relax and cheer for your favorite contestant. Each entry gets their moment in the spotlight. Lots of prizes and surprises will be awarded. While the event is free to participate, donations of pet supplies and monetary donations will be collected to benefit the Worcester County Humane Society. Registration begins at 12pm with the pageant on the boardwalk beginning promptly at 1pm.

Swing for Youth Golf Open - October 28, 2017

Eagles Landing plays host to the OC Recreation Boosters 7th Annual Swing for Youth Golf Open, scheduled for Saturday, October 28, 2017.  This 4-person Florida scramble is a huge success, with sell-out crowds each year.  Participation is limited.  All-inclusive price of $125 per player, $500 per team.  Price includes greens fees and cart, two mulligans per person, putting contest, "Tame the Beast", and raffle tickets.  The tournament begins with a shotgun start at 10am.  All proceeds from this event will benefit the youth programs of Ocean City's Recreation and Parks.  For more information, call Eagles Landing Golf Course at 410-213-7277.
