Free Movies on the Beach - Uptown

Free movies on the beach for the entire family!  Bring your beach chair or a blanket and enjoy the night beside the ocean. Every Wednesday night at 8:30pm. All movies are subject to change. Enjoy a free concert while watching the sunset over the Isle of Wight Bay from the perfect location in Ocean City! Sunset Park is located along S. Division Street on the Bay, near the Coast Guard Station.  7pm to 9pm.  Admission to the park is free, while beverages, including beer, are available for purchase.  It is recommended that attendees bring their own seating.

First Friday Opening Receptions are held the first Friday of the month at the OC Center for the Arts on 94th Street.

Meet the artists, enjoy hors d’oeuvres and refreshments, and see the new exhibits featuring a variety of local artists.  5pm to 7pm.  Open to the public.  Free Admission.

45th Annual White Marlin Open

World's largest billfish tournament!  Come watch fish weigh-ins Monday thru Friday, 4pm to 9pm at Harbour Island Marina on 14th Street. Over 300 boats vie for over $2 million in prize money. Artists Paint OC: Plein Air Event - August 8-12, 2018

This annual event draws artists from all over to paint the scenic views of OC.  Watch artists at work as they set up their easels along the Boardwalk, bayside & beaches.  The Quick Draw Painting Event will cap off the weekend as artists race to complete a painting in only two hours.  Purchase their freshly painted works right from their easels.

Capt. Steve Harman's Poor Girls Open

The Poor Girls Open is a ladies-only billfish release tournament benefiting breast cancer research.  There are also added entry levels for tuna and dolphin.  This tournament was started by Capt. Steve Harman as a way for local waitresses and bartenders to have an affordable and fun competition while raising money for a very important cause.  The tournament continues to grow with over 100 boats entering.  Participation is not limited only to anglers, as there are silent auctions, 50/50 tickets, T-shirts for sale, and other fun events helping to raise money for brease cancer research.  In the past three years alone, the Poor Girls Open has raised over $100,000 that was donated to the American Cancer Society.  For more information, visit www.bahiamarina.com.
