OC Surf Fest

June 7-9, 2019

OC Surf Fest is Ocean City Surf Club's biggest and most fun events of the year! The party starts Friday night at 6pm with a little kickoff party at Barn 34, only a few blocks from the contest site. Saturday is filled with teams from all over the United States going head to head in a competitively fun environment with a focus on fun, sharing waves, and having a great time. Sunday is our professional longboard event, Walk da Plank Pro Contest.

Mako Mania

June 7-9, 2019

The Mako Mania is a mako shark tournament with added entry levels for bluefish and thresher shark. This tournament is traditionally the start of the tournament season in Ocean City. Mako Mania was started in 1996 by Captain Steve Harman and continues to grow every year. The Mako Mania is unique in that boats of all sizes can compete with decent weather.

Daily weigh-ins will be held at Bahia Marina from 3:30PM - 7:30PM each fishing day.

Stop by, have a beverage and something to eat at FishTales while watching the sharks come in to be weighed!

OC Car & Truck Show

The OC Car and Truck Show promises an outdoor and indoor venue filled with the hottest custom, tuned and supped up cars from across America—and we deliver. Sand Duels Beach Soccer Challenge

June 8-9, 2019

The 2019 Sand Duels™ Beach Soccer, is a 5-on-5 soccer tournament for youth aged 8 though 18 and Adults with divisions based on age, gender, and ability. The Sand Duels™ Beach Soccer is the LARGEST sand soccer event in Ocean City, Maryland. The tournament is ideal because it enables younger players more opportunities to touch the ball than in regular games. Additionally, more experienced players get to develop their talents in a competitive, yet fun, environment.

Captain Schoepf Relay

June 9, 2019

Beach relay honoring contributions of Capt. Schoepf and the sacrifices of all past and present Ocean City Beach Patrol at the 7th Street Beach - 10AM. Captain Schoepf served on the Beach Patrol from 1950 to 1996, at which time he retired after more than 40 years of service to the Town of Ocean City.

To honor his many years of with the OCBP, this annual relay is held in early June. Captain Schoepf began his career with the Ocean City Beach Patrol in 1950 and worked his way through the ranks, promoting to sergeant, then to lieutenant. With the approval of the Mayor and City Council, Schoepf became Assistant to the Captain in the late 1960’s and was appointed to Captain in 1987.

Delmarva ESA Surf Contest #2

The Eastern Surfing Association is dedicated to the sport of amateur surfing, to the operation of a program of amateur competition for surfers of all ages and abilities, and to the establishment and preservation of free access to a clean shoreline and ocean environment. It was founded in 1967 by East Coast surfers to promote, preserve, and protect the sport of surfing on the East Coast.

Contests are subject to change due to wave and weather conditions.

OC Air Show

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will return to Ocean City, Maryland on June 15-16, 2019 to headline the OC Air Show. The 12th annual event will once again kick off Ocean City’s summer season. A Blue Angels performance exhibits the flying skills that all naval aviators possess.

"The OC Air Show keeps getting bigger and better thanks to the support of the Town of Ocean City and the hundreds of thousands of spectators who come out to make it a success, some from as far away as New York, Ohio and the Carolinas” said Bryan Lilley, President of the OC Air Show.

Maryland State Firemen's Association Annual Convention

Each year the MSFA gathers in Ocean City to conduct their annual business meeting and election of officers. In addition, a fire service trade show and exhibition is conducted. Educational classes and seminars are provided to enhance their members operational readiness.

Sundaes in the Park

June 16, 2019 - September 1, 2019

Spend your Sunday evenings in picturesque Northside Park listening to your favorite live music. This is a family concert series with pizzazz! Enjoy free music ranging from country to rock, tribute bands to oldies. Each week children are offered various free activities and entertainment. The best thing about Sundaes in the Park is the ice cream sundaes! Create your own sundae for a nominal fee, sit back, listen to music and watch the sun set over the beautiful Assawoman Bay. Additional ice cream novelty and beverage options are available for purchase. Bring your picnic basket and beach chairs. The night will end with a fireworks display at 9pm. In the event of inclement weather, this event will be moved inside the complex.

Maryland State Firemen's Association Annual Parade

June 19, 2019

As part of the annual convention and conference, the MSFA holds a Fire Service Parade in Ocean City. Fire Apparatus, Floats, Marching Units, Majorettes, and Music Groups participate in this event. It is one of the largest fire service parades on the East Coast.

2018-2019 Tour UA National Championship

June 21-23, 2019

The 2018-2019 3RD ANNUAL TOUR SPONSORED BY UNDER ARMOUR 54 HOLE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP will be played in OCEAN CITY MARYLAND!

3 spectacular courses will host the third annual championship! Friday, June 21st will be played on the challenging Robert Trent Jones Course at Ocean Pines Golf Club followed by the opening ceremony dinner at our Tour Sponsor – Off the Hook Restaurant Groups new venture – Tailchasers Restaurant and Dockside Bar. Saturday, June 22nd will be played on the gorgeous Lester George Design on the Newport Bay Course at Ocean City Golf Club. The PGA Golf Management Scholarship Dinner, long drive, chipping and putting contest will be held that day/night as well. June 23rd -Sunday’s final round will be held on the town of Ocean City’s own Eagles Landing Golf Course, with its excellent conditions and spectacular views, will complete the 54 Hole National Championship.

Jellyfish Festival

June 21-23, 2019

The core of Jellyfish is the main stage, right off the Boardwalk in beautiful downtown Ocean City north of the pier, stretching to North Division Street, which will host three days and nights of top-level regional and national music acts (seating available). We also will be using the historic Ocean Bowl Skatepark as a music venue, with our tentacles also extending throughout Ocean City to private participating venues.

Jellyfish is more than just music. Located beside the main stage, you’ll find the Jellyfish Village. It will be five blocks of interactive, family-friendly activities and fun. It will include a fitness challenge, a skateboard and bicycle zone, a secondary music stage, as well as vendors and artists.

Events include throwing and hand building demonstrations, kids activities, a throwdown competition, and bowl-making sessions. The Fish N Paddle Saltwater Slam is a Kayak Fishing Tournament and Stand Up Paddleboard Fishing Tournament taking place on June 29-30, 2019 in Ocean City, Maryland. This tournament will be the ultimate kayak/SUP fishing experience with no minimum number of anglers and over $7,000 cash purse to be distributed to the top three anglers.
